With permission from filmmaker and actor Theresa Godly , I can share with everyone the film festival page where you can view The Stranger I Love, a film about parental alienation which I have helped out on. It’s the third one down. https://bigsyn.org/mluk-screenings/https://bigsyn.org/mluk-screenings/
I am delighted for my good friend Theresa Godly, whose short film on Parental Alienation – The Stranger I Love – has made it into The Big Syn film festival in Piccadilly. We still hope to raise more money for submission to other festivals around the world and spread awareness of the terrible social issue or #parentalalienation in the hopes it shall be criminalised. https://www.tinyurl.com/tsilfmhttps://www.tinyurl.com/tsilfm
I am delighted to inform you all that earlier this afternoon we managed to cross our funding goal. A huge thank you to everyone who has pledged. With over three and a half weeks still left, we should be able to get a few more Backers as well.
The gamebook community is very niche, but also incredibly supportive of itself and this has shone through.
In the meantime keep spreading the word, and hope to bring you something great in return. You can back this project <<<HERE>>>
When I was 19 years old, I produced my first full length interactive gamebook manuscript, The Curse Of Axehead Island. On reading it back to myself, it felt flat, with an off-the-peg plot and rather boring characters. I even had a go at illustrations for it but could never match the skills I was weened on. (See pic 🤢)
25 years later, I had an inspiring walk on the local beach with my dog. I managed to tweak that dusty old manuscript enough that it became more engaging, with a couple of clever twists. It became The Druids Of Pneuma. The third book that I self-published on the readily available Amazon KDP. Better still, having met my own heroes from yesteryear, I managed to recruit one of the illustrators whose work I’d admired for so many years before. And now, Malcolm Barter and I are preparing to work on another project. The Witches Of Cara, now live on Kickstarter.
It is with great delight that I can announce that my second Kickstarter project has gone live. In just six hours we have funded 75% of our target £1500 and I have no doubt the project will fund. However, will it fund within 24 hours and get the best coverage on the KS website? Only by people backing this project is this achievable, so if you fancy a kick ass horror gamebook and other goodies, check out Paranormal Hero: The Witches Of Cara on Kickstarter today! CLICK HERE
