Cured Jam

Been almost two weeks since posting here. Finally feel I’m over my cold and that’s good as its my birthday on the 27th. Things are still bad at work, I think the only saving grace to keep my hours is if someone bottles out and leaves. Regina is thinking about it. My previous GSM has put my details forward to the company she works for now. That could be a lifeline if anything pops up. I think Craig’s safe though seeings how our current GSM has rewarded his two week absence with even less work and shouldered it onto Regina’s duties. I’ll bet there’s some serious time sheet fixing going on, I can’t see Regina staying on till the 6:30pm like she claims to be with two kids and a moaning husband to contend with.
At home, there seems to be something up. I seem to be getting fed a couple of times a week by the landlady. Well…a rent increase is well out of the equation. I’d need to go back to Abbott Street if that ever happened I guess. We’ll be acquiring two cats as well apparently now her eldest has separated with her fella and moved in next door. Before anyone asks…I ain’t babysitting! I moved in there to lodge not be a scivvy.

Cold War

Been battling with a nasty cold since Thursday evening so haven’t done a great deal at all this weekend. I saw an interesting fan review of the post apocalypse film Threads yesterday. It was being weighed up against a US version of the same topic, The Day After. Both good films although Threads was filmed with much more graphic realism and no holds barred. Quite surprising for a britflick.

I’ve replenished my bug out bag with two days worth of provisions. May ask Susie if I can pitch a tent out back for a couple of nights. Even down the side would do, I’m out everyone’s way there.

Back to work tomorrow. Hopefully the worst will have passed. Craig’s been on leave a fortnight claiming stress. We are wondering if he’ll try the sixth month trick, but Steve has been taking pictures for Val of his duties and areas he’s been missing. With any luck she will grow a backbone and dismiss Craig, but then she didn’t listen when I complained so why should she now. Nice lady but crap manager. Still, roll on the next couple of weeks.

General Deception

Well, Britain are no longer going to be under a hung parliament thanks to the Conservative party winning outright majority. This is pleasing as it means the SNP won’t be co-allied with anybody. Speaking of which the SNP have done extremely well and dominate the Scottish electorate having beayen back Labour. Despite Farage losing his constituency in South Thanet the growth of support in UKIP did show through with an overall 9% climb. They now have a single seat in Parliament, but from little acorns….

…so, now David CaMoron is back in number ten Downing Street, will he keep his word and issue an EU referendum? I don’t think he will. Time will tell!

Voting UKIP

Reasons I’m voting #UKIP –

#Labour and #Conservative having done nothing but balls up over the past X amount of years. Time for fresh blood!

I wish to see the NHS get a three billion pounds boost!

I wish to see our armed forces better equipped than the dated crap from yesteryear.

I want to see border control. We have our own homeless and our own criminals, Britain doesn’t want everyone else’s! Border control does not mean “halt immigration entirely”.

I want out of the EU membership . This isn’t racist, if you say it is then you are calling Norway and a dozen other countries #racist whom are not in the EU. Soz!

So Nicola Sturgeon doesn’t even get a look in. Scotland is a portion of Britain. This makes her SNP more racially segregated than BNP ever was. How dare she call UKIP racist.

Nigel #Farage is not only the most engaging public speaker in politics, direct and to the point….but also a bloody nice gent to meet.

That’s my bit for the day 🙂

Self Assessment

Every negative emotion comes about our ability to deal with it. Friends and family can also get us through and nine times out of ten thats the way to go. Personally i find speaking to a stranger more helpful. Theyre completely unbiased. Im greatful i can dummy up a lot of the time and channel aggression through other mediums, rather than lose my temper like most. Or use it as an excuse to get pissed or violent. For all my faults, im proud of who I am and have never stooped that low as to hurt someone deliberately in relation to my own mood. Im emotionally independant, and dissolve anxieties myself. I still need family and friends in the physical world though, without them i doubt id get far. I was never physically strong, but my mind feels Herculean!  Go me!!

DoctorWho vs Ukip

Here i bequeathe you evidence of which party #TheMaster joined post #Utopia. #TheDoctor wasn’t just fighting an evil #Timelord. He was trying to bring an end to #UKIP. Saxon was a ukip candidate in #Lincolnshire before his rise to power!
