So we wave bye bye to August and hello to september. Dads lyin hospital having his prostate seen to and my vodafone sim appears to have expired. Or theyve cut me off. Either way, I needed some form of internet readily available for the launch of Jonathan Greens latest kickstarter project, The Wicked Wizard Of Oz. So naturally I now have a contract with EE and have a sexy new Huawei P9 to go with it. Huawei phones truly are value for money and the cameras are amazing on both the front and back.

However, im currently reading another novel. Yes! Two inside a year chalk it up. This one is the chilling horror The House On Cold Hill by Peter James. I was instantly hooked at chapter one, and reckon all fans of the genre would be too. Seek and aquire a copy today. Mine was £4 at ASDA.

Just for fun I thought I’d post this picture. I didn’t draw it I found it online, Grats to the artist it’s a fine comic style take on a monster which scared the crap out of me as an eight year old boy. Can you guess the movie it appeared it?

This past few days have been so muggy and hot. My data allowance is set to run out soon so thought I’d make this post quick. Looking forward to the start of Jonathan Green’s Kickstarter on the third of September. The Wicked Wizard of Oz Kickstarter: https://t.co/svFt8x1xBh

Got to do Regs work today and tomorrow then I’m on leave for a week. Hoping to start work on the allotment during this time. Home life has been superb. Especially Tuesday evening 😉

So anyway I offer this guy £40 to end his eBay auction early. He said, “no thank you I’ll leave it for bidders as I will get much more”

I managed to put the final bid on……it was £29.50. Enter the Jam!

I’m now the proud owner of a pristine copy The Warlock Of Firetop Mountain board game. (Got another one but the box is a bit scuffed) I’d love to meet Ian Livingstone and Steve Jackson so they can sign it. Hopefully they’ll be an FFF2?

Tin Man Games of Australia will be releasing the Steam app of this game soon too. As a backer of this crowd funded venture , my name will appear in Zagors crypt! Speaking of Tin Man… Jonathan Green will be launching a Kickstarter project soon, with a game book based on The Wizard Of Oz! The Wicked Wizard Of Oz will be launched on Kickstarter on the 3rd of September, and you can find the public group of the same name on Facebook!!

Jam out!!!

Olym Picks

Ok I admit it. I haven yet seen the Rio Olympics opening ceremony but will catch up on YouTube. First off, big congratulations to #AdamPeaty for bringing back Britain’s first gold medal. We usually do well in swimming, rowing and cycling. However I have this feeling we are not going to get nearly as many gold medals as in the last Olympics back in London 2012. Awwww, It’s still so fresh in my mind. Now that ‘was’ an amazing ceremony. Anyway enough of that. I’ll wish our athletes the best of luck but my prediction is we don’t get anywhere near as many gold.

I’ll watch this space!

KitKat ™

Today was an interesting experience around lunch time. All rubbish aside, I sat down to eat a KitKat Chunky. I was pleasantly surprised to discover it didn’t have any wafer in it at all. Have sod all else to share with the world right now so thought I’d mention it, and here’s a pic for the Chocoholics amongst you.

 P.S.

#Nestlé , your chocolate tastes so much nicer with wafer inside.

Fighting Fantasy Fest2 ?

So there are mutterings of a second Fighting Fantasy Fest heading towards reality in the year 2017. This would make it a nice 35th anniversary event for the series. I cannot really say anymore at this time other than all you other fans out there should keep an eye on the creators Facebook walls. The biggest gripe people speak about is how do they make it worth going to this time. We had the chat from the creators, publishers, illustrators , we had book stall and game stalls, the incredible Legend Photography , and Ian and Steve held an auction with all sorts of goodies from their personal collections.

For me it wouldn’t matter too much. It’d be a great chance to catch up with my hero’s, many of which have become good friends. Writers/ illustrators and of course fans that couldn’t make it last time would be great to see . Getting a few more raries signed is always a good thing. I noticed a poll Ian Livingstone posted on Facebook recently. Also I noticed “Grumpy Wizard” pic and a related McCaig cover.

Clues…. ? Maybe it’s nothing, but I believe it may not just be FFF2 making fans happy next year if it all comes true, and this year still has FF magic to come when Tin Man Games release their 3D app version of The Warlock Of Firetop Mountain.

Pokemon Go F.Yourself

Dear Pokemon Go players. I have news for you if you think you’re really cool and you’re playing the latest in app technology. Are you hell!!! Here are three alternative games to #PokemonGo and how they’re much better.

1, Spectrek.

This game is basically the same as Pokémon Go but you’re not after Pokemon characters. You’re after ghosts! Why is it better than PoGo? Cos busting makes you feel good!

2, Munzee.

Check out my munzee page. You can get virtual munzees or get out and look for physical munzees. Yes, they really exist! The latter usually in the form of a QR code you scan with your phone using the munzee app. (Go ahead, dload it and scan mine 😉 Each munzee holds its own value and you earn virtual rewards for progressing through the game. You can even own virtual dogs called Rovers, which can travel the world going from player to player. Ten times better than Pokemon Go!

3 Geocaching.

The grand daddy of all GPS based games. This has been around since the year 2000 (shows how slow PoGo has been in development doesn’t it!) . Use your geocaching app to locate REAL physical containers of various sizes left by others. Sign and date the logbooks you find in each. The larger the cache, the more likely it is to contain little keepsakes you can trade ( Making it 100 times better than Pokemon Go). Find and hide trackables items other players will move around the world for you. I have one that’s currently on its 12000th mile!!

Enjoy…!

Watch “The Girl With All The Gifts – Official Trailer – Official Warner Bros. UK” on YouTube – the book is awesome. A nice new take on the Zompocalyse genre!
