Had a lovely walk to the quarry with Nano…
Until it started raining lol !
It appears the Leave campaigners have managed to pull in more voted than Stay. The margin was astoundingly low at 1.9 per cent, equating to approximately 1.4 million votes. Here is a graph on how people voted across different British regions.
There has been an outburst of insults across the web today from the 48.1% of Stay voters, so much so I have logged out of Facebook as it’s depressing to be referred to as idiotic, racist, bigoted, hateful, foolish, stupid, c words, f words, and other horrible things as I consider myself a loving gentle person , who makes daft videos and photos to bring a smile to a person’s day. A martyr to the web design industry as I’ve never charged extortionate monthly fees like others. Charitable, caring, and friendly.
So maybe these potty mouthed voters should be asking themselves, ‘why didn’t they do anything to try and change my mind to vote IN? ‘
Grow up!
I enjoy geocaching but I compiled and hid my first ever time capsule today. It’s been hidden within the fabrication of a building so with any luck won’t be discovered unless severe renovation work is carried out in the area. Written upon it twice is the request it isn’t open until 2045. I should be long gone by then, at least in the retirement sense. It’s only a small tin box about the size of them petty cash boxes you can get.
It already look aged hehe. Within it is a few trading card packs, some photos of the work area, snips from an Argos catalogue showing what our technology looks like here in 2016, and a memory stick containing more photos and video clips from over the past couple of years. It’s all sealed up airtight and wrapped in a cloth to stop too much dust settling on it. Really keen to do a couple more elsewhere. We shall see…
I’ve been visiting this site over the past couple of weeks to see how the opinion poll are going towards the EU Referendum. For the first time during my visits I see the Leave voters are out ahead by just 3%.
Things are beginning to get much more intense between the two factions. Even Bob Geldof has had a pop at Nigel Garage as his Fishing boat flotilla made its way down the Thames as demonstration against how EU membership has damaged the British fishing trade. Makes a refreshing change from border control and economy, they seem to be the two top vexations from either side. Just a week to go now. If anyone else wishes to visit the above site click HERE
Technically I dunno if I’m allowed to share this yet but it’s been done so by a couple of others and a plugs always good for business so here it goes!
Fighting Fantasy Quest is planned to hit Kick-started soon, a tabletop version of what appears to be based on The Warlock Of Firetop Mountain … the first ever Fighting Fantasy book of the long running and globally successful series of role play game books created by Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone.

Had an amazing 40th birthday on 27th, thanks to everyone involved. Here’s a little video I made of Jam through the last 40 years 🙂
I’ve been thinking about making a couple of time capsules, one of which would be buried. I’ve read into it a bit online and seen a few YouTube videos. I am wondering if sealing the capsule in its own concrete box would preserve it for hundreds of years longer than normal? Would it be waterproof? Or airtight? Or would it make no difference at all other than harder for people to open? If anybody reads this and knows the answer feel free to get in touch replying here. 😃
Getting this done rather quickly. Still have a legion of cards to do and praying my printer has a bit of info in it. Some ingredients arrived today. Problem make a back up set just in case. I was worried I’d find making a rulebook a rather daunting take but (it’s) such a simple game set that I could probably fit it all on a piece of A4. I must redo the probably ratios of the 3 Turn dice. Without them it could whittle on forever with 56 combinations.
Got my Sponge making me dinner tonight and it sounds delicious. How did I get so lucky? Came so close to giving up and she was a mile away all along.
I recently had a chat on Twitter with Ian Livingstone. I had mentioned in a tweet that of late I came up with a game formula based on one of his works. I never expected a reply but received two, along the lines of ‘go ahead and build your idea then get back to me’. Even nicer he congratulated our engagement. So last night I started work, and will construct a scaled down version of the idea out of bits of scrap paper and cardboard. Once complete, I’ll play test it and if all goes well, make a demo video for him.
My Sponge came round tonight for dinner. We decided to be naughty and have a takeaway. That’s not a euthamism. I miss her so much when she’s not around.
Apparently there’s going to be a High School reunion later this year. It’s be nice to see a few. A very small few. In the cold light of day I hated high school and a lot of my schoolmates… maybe half a dozen staff as well. I’m happy with what I have now. Don’t need demons of yesteryear to reenter my life.
