I’ve been thinking about making a couple of time capsules, one of which would be buried. I’ve read into it a bit online and seen a few YouTube videos. I am wondering if sealing the capsule in its own concrete box would preserve it for hundreds of years longer than normal? Would it be waterproof? Or airtight? Or would it make no difference at all other than harder for people to open? If anybody reads this and knows the answer feel free to get in touch replying here. 😃

Getting this done rather quickly. Still have a legion of cards to do and praying my printer has a bit of info in it. Some ingredients arrived today. Problem make a back up set just in case. I was worried I’d find making a rulebook a rather daunting take but (it’s) such a simple game set that I could probably fit it all on a piece of A4. I must redo the probably ratios of the 3 Turn dice. Without them it could whittle on forever with 56 combinations.
Got my Sponge making me dinner tonight and it sounds delicious. How did I get so lucky? Came so close to giving up and she was a mile away all along.
I recently had a chat on Twitter with Ian Livingstone. I had mentioned in a tweet that of late I came up with a game formula based on one of his works. I never expected a reply but received two, along the lines of ‘go ahead and build your idea then get back to me’. Even nicer he congratulated our engagement. So last night I started work, and will construct a scaled down version of the idea out of bits of scrap paper and cardboard. Once complete, I’ll play test it and if all goes well, make a demo video for him.
My Sponge came round tonight for dinner. We decided to be naughty and have a takeaway. That’s not a euthamism. I miss her so much when she’s not around.
Apparently there’s going to be a High School reunion later this year. It’s be nice to see a few. A very small few. In the cold light of day I hated high school and a lot of my schoolmates… maybe half a dozen staff as well. I’m happy with what I have now. Don’t need demons of yesteryear to reenter my life.
Will soon have a set of the first 10 Discworld books by Terry Pratchett. Victoria’s recommended them for me and I shall commence after finishing sharkpunk. Lovely few days here have ended, today’s been a total washout. Anyways, got engaged with Victoria so there’s something that’s brightened my day 🙂
It’s so important everybody has the right to vote. As far as I am aware the is only forfeited by jailed criminals. So why is it that women that have fallen on hard times in it isn’t even their fault have their right to vote taken from them when they have had to go into refuge.
This is absolutely appalling and surely not beyond the wit of politicians or other powers that be to come up with a system which they are anonymous to exposure and can still vote.
Please, whoever you are reading this blog, share, like and sign this online petition. It is so important!
And many thanks, Jam x

Well here I am after embarking on my latest game book adventure. Jonathan Greens Night Of The Kraken!
As this book was released just a couple of days ago I decided to do a little review. Can I recommend this book?
I have been a fan of Jonathan Greens work since the early 90s. He is a master of the game book genre and this adventure is no exception. Jonathan delivers not only an eerily satisfying seaside scifi horror for the Doctor but he captures the personality of the character really well with quips and put downs and general manic chatter. Though I am perhaps more akin to more complicated game books of this author, and his writing is toned down so the book is more suitable for younger readers than normal, this doesn’t detract from a thoroughly enjoyable adventure game for all ages who love these genre’s! Go buy a copy! 🙂
One of my writing heroes, Mr Jonathan Green, has had a new publication released today.
Night Of The Kraken is a playable book where you decide the outcome of situations that arise as the story unfolds. As long serving game book author I’m sure Jonathan will have delivered something very special here so I ordered a copy from Amazon earlier today. (And in the hope he will sign it lol).

My good friend Mr Lain (aka MalthusDiresFightingFantasyReviews) has kindly invited me on a trip to London to see Knightmare live. I was a big fan of this show in my early adolescent years, and of course it tied in to my passion of adventure game books thanks to the ever reliable quill of Dave Morris. We will hopefully be meeting up for a meal and pint with Mr Leicester and Mr Aukett, the latter whom is the franchise’s number one fanatic and redeemer of a huge part of my lost FF book titles.
