It still feels rather surreal when I watch this film and my name pops up. The Stranger I Love by Theresa Godly is a hard-hitting example of the effects of #ParentalAlienation on a target parent. Based on true events, this accurate short-film is poised to be turned into a series if sufficient funds are raised for production costs. You can:
With permission from filmmaker and actor Theresa Godly , I can share with everyone the film festival page where you can view The Stranger I Love, a film about parental alienation which I have helped out on. It’s the third one down. https://bigsyn.org/mluk-screenings/https://bigsyn.org/mluk-screenings/
As featured in a previous post, a short film by actor Theresa Godly has been made, and the trailer released. Having been alienated from my own father as a child, this project means so much to people that have been through Parental Alienation. It is a form of psychological abuse that effects everybody except the controlling parent. This film highlights the story of Theresa’s own experience, and also stars the amazingly talented Leon Ung. With the film now complete, we are reaching out for donations for submission to various film festivals all over, in order to spread awareness of this terrible social issue. One of my biggest gripes in the world is child abuse. None moreso than #ParentalAlienation which I recently became an avid fundraiser for. My actor friend Theresa Godly, and director friend Martin Gooch, are making a film together highlighting the horrific effects of this sort of abuse, which shockingly goes unnoticed in the legal field all too much. However, this is a crowdfunder project and there are three quarters funded. There is still 2700 left to raise. If you can help in the form of a pledge, or simply sharing the hell out of it, they would be most grateful, and check out those awesome rewards!
