You know travel bugs? Those little trackable thing you put into geocaches? Well I own three of them. Ones in the hands of someone who isn’t active anymore, ones in a decommissioned cache in the Pennines and another has been lost due to a pillock. It’s within my wit to get it going again but these things cost money. If you’re not gonna move them on why take them?

Works been OK this week. This evening Sponge is at work so I’ve taken to tidying my bedroom whilst listening to a few old favourite albums. Hunting High And Low by a-ha , Adrenalize by Def Leppard and The Wall by Pink Floyd ,Took me right back to when I was 20. Hell….half my life ago in May ! When I think of all my past I feel a large part was wasted around people I shouldn’t have even given the time of day. I was largely ignored, held back, bullied to the point of no confidence. Yet the year after I broke away from all that was one of the best of my life. Last year wasn’t too bad either. This year….. I can do a lot this year with a certain Vic. If/when we do….it’ll be ‘the’ year 😉 x
Known Sponge for three months now. Or a quarter of a year as I like to call it. (Sounds longer lol) I can’t believe how quickly its gone really. I really hope she doesn’t tire from me, and my dream comes true of being with her forever. There’s so much I could type, but can’t due to certain circumstances.
Made a good find on a GrailQuest 8 book with her this weekend. It cost a pound. They go for about £20 on eBay these days. Unless you’re potty enough to buy from these nutters!
Also got a second edition of Deathtrap Dungeon which was nice. Found a lovely pub in Nettleham for dinner, and also deployed the very first Munzee in that village.
Can’t wait till tonight when we are together again. Nor for the next Walking Dead episode. (Yes! In that order.) ;-P
Been a gloomy day today. All based round misinterpretation, bad experiences or plain stupid nothing. Even went all the way down Hawthorne Rd to clear my head. Still, all sorted now, and looking to a bright future. Here’s my latest meme. Share if you like 🙂
So Regina is back from leave. In theory thing should get marginally better at work. Then again , maybe not. But I’ll not be letting my areas suffer. It’s my Sponge I feel sorry for at her new job. I think it may be a bit gruelling as it seems to be quite an intense job with no margins for error. At least it will only be for a fortnight and will pay some way for her. I feel so helpless, but I’m always there. Hopefully that’s something better than nothing.
I’ve deployed two new geocaches and a virtual munzee over the weekend. Of course, Tentmantent was the first to find the one in North Hykeham. Wtg! Got rid of the one I made that’s been sitting in my pocket all week. That’s close by, so I’m beginning to dominate my residence area. I’d like to do another munzee trail. Will see how many I have got left and think of a theme. Gathering ideas already!
So Boris Johnson has claimed he wishes to vote out of the EU. His reasons are perfectly correct as well. Nigel Farage is pleased but naturally David Cameron is bricking it!
Well the mid season opening of The Walking Dead returns with possibly the best and most intense episode since Season fives first. I cannot go into too much detail as many of you including my partner may not have seen it yet. Prepare for a rollercoaster of emotions and plenty of calling at the TV set.
Furthermore, I’ve got a dreaded cold yet again, and my better half has developed tonsillitis and sinusitis. Wonder if I’m getting the former back. Seems similar symptoms. 2016 really gets crapper as the days move on.
Well my Welcome To England virtual at Heathrow Airport seems to be doing very well. I have also invented an idea for a virtual which I can move to a different random location each time it’s capped. I call it the Journeying Jamzee. Check out my munzee page for more.
Poor Sponge isn’t feeling too well. I wish I could look after her as well as she did me when I was ill. Hopefully we can get our own place soon and that’ll become so! Right then, back to work 🙂
I enjoy my job. Hate our management structure though, and as for the mobiles who think they’re all high and mighty they can boil their heads too. I’m ready to move on just as soon as Sponge and I get sorted. We has a chat about me becoming a mature student and studying a course. Archeology would be impressive as I wanted to do that when I was a young boy. So many different influences in you life can make or break you. I did actually reveal to the manager and mobile that this was my intention. To which the manager asked ‘please make sure you give me ample notice…’ I can give ample notice. How about giving me a bloody ‘thanks for all your efforts’ for once! I’ll also start doing the lottery. Either way, they can swivel for notice at any rate !!
Yesterday was a huge eye opener for me and my other half. I want to take this opportunity to tell everyone who ever reads this blog that I love her so much I wish to be her husband soon. Now I know just how much she loves me as well. Last night we had a glimpse into each others minds and saw exactly what we think of each other, and should remember this too. May all our concerns and worries fly out of the window, and leave us to live a happy loving long life XXX
