Its been another long week since I posted here, must get back in the habit of daily posts. Just a quick shout if you happen to have a hit counter which isn’t going up much, check out and add your blog or web address to its rotators for a bit of a boost.
I now have a lovely fortnight off work which was meant to be for spending with someone who is now an ex… so instead of twiddling my thumbs it will give me the opportunity to get out on my bike weather permitting, so watch out for a new jamstracks vid or two. Had a busy old morning getting the laundry done, website updated and a present for dads up and coming birthday. Should be quite useful for him. Cannot say what it is incase he reads this lol. Back soon!!

Well that was a rather busy week. We got second place in the pub quiz on Tuesday and the following morning I had diarrhoea and sickness like never before. The first time I have thrown up in 14 years and it hurt very much. Thankfully it was just a 24 hour bug. Yesterday Susie had rescued a lovely black Labrador from an apparent ne’er do weller and I spent much of the time looking after that with Ruth. Just as things were looking bleak she managed to find her a new home Sunday lunchtime.
This week I have the lovely Shannon learning my tasks for my two weeks leave after this week. Have overtime at the BBC too so I can’t afford many later nights this week. Jamie from work has added me to his Xbox live friendslist and wants to play Left4Dead. Hope I am of good enough calibre now after two years of practise lol.
Back to the grind, and the useless blonde lump never bothered coming in to cover Regina so I was all by myself today. I bought some good things from Asda yesterday to make up the lunchtime meals this week. snackpot (roast onion and mash potato flavour) with a tomato soup drink, nuts and raisins and Belvita biscuits. Also have some mints to nibble on throughout the day. So I was there from 9am to 6pm. Long old day but the overtime will be welcome of course. Came back in the rain grabbing my trusty mushroom burger and fries from Romeos Pizza and settled in front of the laptop to watch The Walking Dead. Them other lot downstairs are watching that spoof big brother show what happens during a zombie outbreak. My vibes must be rubbing off on them lol. Lucy, my boss, has text me saying she will be sending in Nigel and Shannon to help out. Shannon will be nice to see again but I hope miseryguts is in a better mood.
Haven’t posted for a few days now so thought I had better catch up. I launched a traffic exchange last weekend and it seems to be doing quite well with some very attentive members. Last Tuesday I managed to make the pub quiz with Susie and her friends. Five of us in total and it was a nice change of scenery. Never won, in fact I am almost certain had we have looked we would have been last lol. Craig’s been off work this week on leave and Moo isn’t here next week so I’m standing in a bit to make up the work. Still I have two weeks off soon starting March 3rd. Booked that first week of when I dated Shelly but now shes history I hope to get some cycling in. Lets hope the weather is good. My new UKIP membership card has arrived. Hope they do well in the Euro elections in May. A lot of people are still whinging they only divide the tori vote but I should remind them UKIP are now larger than the Lib Dems. Vote common sense!
Not typed anything here for a couple of days as I have been up to quite a lot. I purchased a new website to try out and have been configuring that for a few days. Friday night I had a bit of a wine session with Susie, Mark and Ruth staying up till 5am. Haven’t done that in many years, and boy did I find it difficult to wake up for the trip to the laundrette just three hours later ha ha. My British Army 24 hour ration pack arrived Friday too so I sampled all that out yesterday. Here’s a video clip should anyone be interested in seeing what I had.
Can’t go to dads today as I have caught a cold, so will be having a few rounds on the Xbox with my new Turtle Beach headphone which are amazing and well worth the price. The wires are a bit of a hindrance but the sound quality is all stereo and 3D to a modest level so you get directional listening. Great days.
Got my extra pennies in the bank safely today. I hope this is the start of a recoup to make up for last year. I shall get March out the way then maybe look for an evening job alongside my current one. Never did make it to The Morning Star pub. I guess SusieM is too ill with cold. Spent the evening with the usual round of Left4Dead and then listened to some of Madness’ old songs on youtube. Here is a link to the Madness song Uncle Sam – bring back the 80s!!!
What a great life. The highlight of my day being that the new skips have arrived at work and are a beginning of becoming more efficient at waste disposal. I have serious doubts the punters will comply. At least Moo seemed in a much better mood today. The weekend must have cleared the air with her old man. I’ve unwound this evening by listening to the Queen album Made In Heaven. I cannot believe that late next year will be the 20th anniversary of its release. I can still freshly picture listening to it in my room, my dog Spot still alive. Got some amazing tracks on it too.
I’ve ordered a genuine British Army 24 hour ration pack. Going to use it one Saturday to see if it can satisfy my appetite for a day. I cant see why not there’s an awful lot put into it. May make a video to show how I get on.

Police are warning people there’s a small medium at large.
Didn’t feel so good this morning so I stayed in bed till gone 12 noon. My acid reflux and a small migraine were the culprits. It was well past 1pm when I got showered and dressed. I wended my merry way down to the shops and grabbed some food to cover today, almost leaving my wallet there in the process. SusieM has very kindly invited me out to a pub quiz at The Morning Star. Good as any reason to go in and check it out, not keen on The Peacock Inn. Gradually my symptoms subsided so I indulged in a couple of video games and enquired about ventrino. Its tempting.
My mates in a rock band are always rehearsing. They practise every hour, 365 days a year. They’re called OCD C.
